V. “Paddy” Padmanabhan is the Unilever Chaired Professor of Marketing, INSEAD Singapore, and academic director for the Emerging Markets Institute. Prior to joining INSEAD, he was the John K. and Ellen A. Wallace Distinguished Professor of Marketing at the Olin School of Business, Washington University (1998-2002) and Associate Professor of Marketing and Fletcher Jones Faculty Fellow at the Graduate School of Business, Stanford University (1990-1998). He has been a Visiting Professor at the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University, and INSEAD-France.
Balagopal (Bala) Vissa is associate professor of entrepreneurship located at INSEAD's Asia campus in Singapore. Prof Vissa’s research interests focus on entrepreneurship in Asian emerging economies. His research seeks to understand how entrepreneurial firms and teams in Asia build effective networks - in the context of traditional family businesses as well as stand-alone new ventures. His research has received numerous awards and has appeared in prestigious academic journals such as the Academy of Management Journal, Journal of International Business Studies, Organization Science and Strategic Management Journal. He also serves on the Editorial Review Board of leading academic journals.
Arun S R, Senior Lawyer, ALMT Legal, did his graduation from the National Law School of India University, Bangalore (BA. LLB (Hons.) in 1995. Arun’s corporate practice includes advising venture capital, private equity and investment funds and has developed the capital markets group which specialises in public offerings in India and abroad. Arun continues to advise and work on his known expertise of mergers & acquisitions, including cross border transactions. Arun has been working extensively with Startups and is well entrenched in the Startup eco system. He has advised some marquee startups as they have grown. He also serves as a Director on the Board of several well-known technology companies. The Chambers Partners and Asia Legal 500 rate him as one the leading practitioners in his areas of practice.
