Seafund is partnering with Sanchi Connect to curate startups from the mobility space. This will look at the EV Ecosystem, Warehousing Tech, Transportation & Logistics, Micro Mobility Finance & After Markets. This Mobility focused accelerator program will span across 12 weeks covering various aspects related to the journey of individual Startup ranging from product development and validation, Go to market strategy development, customer acquisition and retention strategy development, understanding the various aspects of fund raising, the various legal documents and stages involved, day to day finance management, compliance management and a lot of other things that are needed to nurture an early startup to make it market ready and help them develop a market worthy product along with help to raise funding at the end of the program

Seafund is partnering up with Defence Innovation Organisation (iDEX-DIO) which provides impetus to development of vibrant eco-system for innovations in Defence Sector through technology driven Start-Ups/MSME, to realise the aim of making India self-reliant in Defence Infrastructure. Towards this end, various schemes such as DISC (Defence India Start-up Challenge), OC (Open challenge), iDEX Prime etc have been launched and the procedures for hosting the challenges, identifying the winners, provision of funding (including enhanced funding upto Rs. 10 crores under iDEX Prime & upto Rs 1.5 crores for DISC/OC) and accelerated induction procedures are well established.

Seafund has been an active collaborator in the Kerala ecosystem and has been partnering with KSUM since 2016. Out of the 14 investment of Fund I, 7 are Kerala based and with local founders. More than 50% of Fund I corpus deployed in Kerala based startups. Seafund has built deep linkages across Kerala working with ecosystem partners like TiE Kerala, IIM-K, and Malabar Angels and an active participant KSUM flagship events like Seeding Kerala, Huddle Kerala, Startup Pitching events, IIM – K events, Monthly Investor Cafes, events by various networks like TiE and Malabar Angel network across Trivandrum, Kochi, Kozhikode and Kannur.
